Beartown Brewery Beer Tasting Evening May 17th 2024
To celebrate the launch of our partnership with Beartown Brewery, we have organised a Brewery Tour and Beer Tasting event on Friday 17th May at the brewery in Congleton.
London Reception 2023
Following the huge success of the 2022 event, we are once again going back to the RAF club.
This is now an annual event, and is a wonderful opportunity to meet old friends and share memories of our common heritage.
AGM and Summer Reception 2022
We are delighted to invite you to our flagship summer event at Sandbach School on July 16th . This will be our first AGM for 2 years, and we are combining this with a buffet lunch and also a special guest of former staff member John Owen. To start the day we will also be holding our annual Service in the school chapel.
London Reception 2022
After a 2 year delay we are delighted to be finally going back to the RAF club.
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet old friends and share memories of our common heritage.
OSA Lunch November 27th 2021
This lunchtime event will combine a fork buffet lunch with a special Service of Thanksgiving to remember and pay tribute to Reg Dunning & Geoff Piggott. There will be an opportunity to share a short reminiscence if you want to.
New Date Set for London 2022 Reception
The Old Sandbachians’ Association is delighted to announce another – and hopefully final – new date for our much Covid-postponed London 2022 Reception. This popular event was originally due to be held in March 2020.
New Date Set for London 2020 Reception
The Old Sandbachians’ Association is delighted to announce a new date for our much postponed London 2020 Reception.
Following on from the UK government’s recent “roadmap” announcement, we now feel confident the event can finally take place on Saturday, June 26th, 2021
Further Postponement of London 2020 Event
With government restrictions still in place and travel still challenging, we have spoken to the RAF Club and have agreed to postpone this event for another 6 months.
The new date is March 13th 2021.
Postponement of London 2020 Event at the RAF Club
Having consulted with a number of parties, including the RAF Club, and acknowledging that at least 2 old boys would be unable to travel as they are coming from overseas, we have taken the decision to postpone the March event until October 24th.
