On Sunday 14th November 2021, as has been tradition for many years, Sandbach hosted a Remembrance parade consisting of veterans, cadets and many other groups, ahead of a wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial in the Cobbled Square. More

Following the recent sad passing of Sandbach School teacher and legend, Geoff Piggot, and in recognition of the importance that Sandbach School played in Geoff’s life, the hearse carrying Geoff to his private funeral passed through the grounds of the School More
Peter Manning, who attended Sandbach School between 1940 and 1947, died peacefully earlier this year at the age of 91. He relished his time at Sandbach, representing the football, cricket and rugby teams. More
The Old Sandbachians’ Association is deeply saddened to announce Sean Worth died on 22nd October 2021, quite suddenly.
Sean was at the school in the year from 1973 -1980. He was a regular contributor to our Facebook group. More
We have had many enquiries about the arrangements for Geoff’s funeral, which is a reflection of the huge respect and affection that so many Old Sandbachians had for him.
His family have decided on a private funeral service. The hearse will drive through the grounds of the School. More
