Sandbach Remembrance Sunday Parade 2022

This wonderful knitted display was seen on the top of the post box outside the Literary Institute

On Sunday 13th November 2022, as has been tradition for many years, Sandbach hosted a Remembrance parade consisting of veterans, cadets and many other groups, ahead of a wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial in the Cobbled Square.

As always a credit to everyone involved. In my schooldays I marched on the parade myself as part of the CCF (RAF Section), so I know both how arduous it is and also how much rehearsal time gets put into it.

Below I have a short video of the parade going past the roundabout, another video with the Last Post, silence, and part of the music played by the band. There’s also handful of photographs.

Yes, I did the unthinkable and stood on the Crosses to get a better filming position
