Interview: Cyril Horsley – Part 3

Cyril Horsley was at Sandbach School from 1938. He is the oldest Sandbachian that we know. He attended St Peter’s Primary School in Elworth, where he was a friend the late Reg Dunning. He was at the school through the war years and was able to give a unique insight into life in those difficult times. Cyril spoke to Jeff Lewis and Ryan Grant (our Honorary Communication Officer) about his time at school, his life after conscription and the long lasting impact of the school on his life. In this third part of the interview, Cyril talks about his memories of the school, including how he was at the school for a year longer than anyone else!
